Outside Household Members

If you would like to share ROBAT with people outside of your household, like a student away for school, you can add an Outside Household Member to your ROBAT account at a lower price.

  • The account owner pays for the Outside Household Member’s slot.
  • The account owner manages the addition and removal of Outside Household Members
  • Outside Household Members have their own account, password, and profile. They don’t affect the account owner’s experience.
  • Outside Household Members need to be in the same country where the account owner signed up.

 

Add an Outside Household Member

To add an extra member, you need a Premium plan or higher.

  1. Go to ROBAT Account. You may need to sign in if you haven’t already.
  2. Select Outside Household Account
  3. Review and confirm your new payment amount and new billing date.
  • You will not be charged until you confirm the new amount
  • Since ROBAT is a prepaid service, your billing date will change based on the remaining balance of your last payment
  1. Enter the email address of the New Member. (We’ll use this info to send them an invitation email)
  2. Select Buy Now
  3. The New Member receives an email from ROBAT with a unique invitation link (you’ll be notified when they activate their Outside Household Member account).

 

Outside Household Member Invitation Email

When the New Member receives the invitation to be added as an Outside Household Member to someone’s account, they should follow these steps to activate their account.

  1. Select the link in the email invitation you received.
  2. Select Get Started. You will be redirected to a web browser.
  3. Enter your new Account information

 

Since the account owner pays for your membership, you won’t be asked to enter a payment method.
