How to change or reset your password

If you know your password and can sign in to ROBAT but want to change it, go to the Change Password page.

When choosing a password, it should be:

  • Different than what you use for any other websites or apps
  • At least 8 characters long
  • A mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
  • Not easily guessed – such as “password,” “12345678,” or any personal information (name, birthday, address)

 

A password manager can make it easier to keep track of unique passwords.

If you can’t sign in or can’t remember your password, you’ll need to reset it by email or text message (if you’ve already added a phone number to your account).

If you can’t remember your email or your phone (or you haven’t added a phone number to your account), you will need to contact us for assistance by verifying your billing information.

Reset password by email
  1. Go to the login page
  2. Choose Forgot Password
  3. Enter your email address and tap or click Email Me
  4. Look for an email from ROBAT about resetting your password. It should arrive within a few minutes.
  5. Tap or click the link in the email to be signed in to ROBAT automatically.
  6. Once signed in, you’ll be asked to create a new password. Your new password can’t be the same as your last password.

 

The link in the email will expire after 24 hours.  If it is expired, send yourself another email from the Forgot Password page.

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Choose Forgot Password
  3. Enter the phone number associated with your account and tap or click Text Me
  4. You will be sent a verification code by text message. Enter that code to reset your password.  The code expires after 20 minutes.
  5. After entering the code, you’ll be asked to create a new password. Your new password can’t be the same as your last password.

 

If you haven’t added a phone number to your account, you’ll need to reset your password by email.  After signing in, you can add a phone number at any time by going to your Account page and selecting Add phone number.  If the phone number on your account is no longer valid, go to your Account page and select Change phone number.
